Wallace Ford and Dean Jagger in a story involving newsreels and early television.
Don't bother downloading the h.264 file. The Cinepack file from which it is derived is smaller.

An okay, high-speed romantic comedy with a good cast that includes Wallace Ford, June Travis and Dean Jagger (with hair). Arthur "Dagwood Bumstead" Lake has a supporting role. The action and the wooing revolve around the early days of experimental television. As it must be in a fifty-two minute quickie, the screenplay is filler free. The plot may be basic, but the finale is one of the more farfetched I've seen, which actually turns out to be part of the fun. Incidentally, nobody ends up in Shanghai until the closing twenty seconds of film. Don't ask too much of it, and you won't be sorry for watching this entertaining second feature.
